About Me
I grew up on a sustainable farm in the mountains north of Whistler, BC. Growing up rurally taught
me to be very self-sufficient and creative. Our family has been developing the land on our property
over the last 20 years to slowly make it more efficient and sustainable by constantly upgrading
renewable energy sources. My surroundings influenced my interest in sustainability and
innovation because it was apparent how important and influential our natural surroundings can be. This
curiosity led to an interest in the building industry, and how it can have a positive impact on the
environment. I am very passionate about impacting our society in a positive way, especially when it comes to the energy efficiency and consumption from the buildings humans use. I hope to be an active member of society that proves we can support a sustainable existence by continuously protecting the environment.
